Convergence of Libraries, Learning and Technology Conference

Well, this would certainly appear to be more of a regional draw, but there should be some application for distance librarians at this conference.  Perhaps you want to present?

Conference: Convergence of Libraries, Learning and Technology Conference (Ohio Digital Commons for Education Conference)
Conference Dates: March 6-8, 2005.
Conference Location: Columbus, Ohio (at the Easton Hilton...very nice...)
Deadline: October 31, 2004

ODCE 2005 will feature submitted and invited presentations, technology demonstrations, pre-conference workshops and plenary presentations.

Papers for conference sessions and pre-conference workshops are sought for the following topics:

* Developing, Facilitating and Assessing Engaging Courses
* Advances and Applications of Technologies for Education and Educational Research
* Libraries & Electronic Media - Resources, Services and Collaborations
* Breaking Barriers In E-Learning Policy and Funding
* Partnerships and Collaborations for Technology-Enabled Education
* The Future of Technology and Education

The Ohio Digital Commons for Education 2005 Conference will include keynote speakers, vendor exhibits, and technology demonstrations. The conference will be held at the Columbus Hilton at Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio. Online registration will be available in December.
