Invest in Distance Education

The Chronicle of Higher Ed has a very short piece about the rising stock (as in stock market) of Capella University - lots of support in the comments from Capella grads!  I've met librarians from the U of Phoenix, but never from Capella, though the website says they exist.  Can't actually get to the Capella library site w/o a login though, it seems...

I believe that Capella contracts out their library services to another university. At least, the library I'm working at now provided library services to Capella until a few years ago (before I worked here).

Just thought you might want to know that the Capella librarians are indeed in the Capella Headquarters. I'm one of them!

We do go to conferences (ALA, Educause, MLA - that's Minnesota, etc.) where you might run into us, and we're hoping to have some more visibility in future.
